WOW! There is so much to say about Marcellis Mosby and his team at FIRST AND LAST! Awesome business name btw. They took care of my restoration job from first to last. I had a HORRIBLE insurance adjuster, but Marcellis helped out from the very beginning to help communicate and get things moving. This team was professional and got the job done. The process for the insurance was so long, but after getting this situated with them, First and last came thru and grid excellence work. I would highly recommend FIRST AND LAST if you have any water damage of any kind.

Prompt, Informed, and Empathetic Service. My project manager was able to visit my home the next and provide a quote the following day. We couldn’t say enough about how grateful our family is for First & Last Restoration! We discovered water leaking into our wall and wood floor at the worst time, during my maternity leave! Not only was the team punctual & competent, but they were truly top tier when it came to intentionality & the safety of our family with two littles. They used zipped closures to make sure everyone in the house was safe while opening floors & walls, they dried the water under the flooring & remediated all mold in record time. They even took care of mold we were unaware of. Best of all they had experience with working with insurance companies & handled the process directly so we didn’t have to be the “middle man”. If I could give 6 stars I would. I had 3 levels of water damage in my home. I contacted Marcellis the owner of First & Last Restoration and he and his team came within hours. They did a thorough walk-thru of what needed to be done. They explained every detail, answered all my questions, and eased my concerns. The team was lead by Quincy, who was knowledgeable, professional, and efficient. They dried out my walls and ceilings & did mold remediation. They took pictures of before and after and tried to minimize the dust as much as possible. I noticed that a small hole was in the wood of my island; that was done accidentally. I mentioned this to Marcellis, and there was “no debate”. He found the best in the business and they repaired it like new. I’m extremely satisfied with their work and will use them again. I will also recommend them to my friend & family. If you need water damage repair or mold remediation…they should be your First and Last call 🙂

My toilet on the main level overflowed and leaked into my basement, soaking my drywall. Quinton and Jose did an amazing job removing the affected areas and setting up dehumidifiers and fans to remove the moisture from the basement. They were extremely professional and kept me in the loop throughout the process. After that, Marcellis found an equally outstanding team to install the drywall and paint the basement. They worked efficiently and completed the entire job within 8 hours. I recommend 1st and Last Restoration for any mitigation and restoration needs.

Our plumber recommended we get a mold evaluation during the replacement of a toilet. Marcellis came to our home the next day. He provided a very honest evaluation and recommended no further restoration work. He explained how we can take care of the situation ourselves and did not charge us a penny. He could have charged us an arm and a leg for a complete restoration, but instead gave us an honest evaluation of the problem. I highly recommend this company!

Awesome team! I unfortunately had my sump pump to fail recently and the water backed up into my basement which not only smelled it also damaged my carpeting and drywall. I located First and Last Restoration on google and the reviews said it best. From start to finish the experience was so pleasant and professional. Marcellus was polite from the start and was able to get a team to me immediately. Quincy and Jose showed up and took all of my anxiety away. They were polite, professional and also educated me on the process along the way. They showed up timely each day and kept the process organized along the way. Quincy touched base with me daily to ensure the process was moving along as I expected. After a previous remidiation company displayed complete unprofessionalism and was a waste of time, I contacted Marcellis and that same day he was able to come out and inspect the issue. The next day the mold remediation team, Quincy and Jose, came out. They were quick, helpful, and professional. I would recommend them again.

My experience with First and Last Restoration has been amazing! This was the first time that I’ve had to deal with water issues in my home so I became anxious thinking about what type of damage may have been caused. The bathroom flooded, due to a broken piece under the toilet, and water came pouring through my dining room ceiling. I’d reached out to another water restoration company who’d come out and assessed the situation within all of 3 minutes. I wasn’t satisfied with the lack of information from the prior company and was given a great referral to this one. Mr. Mosby was extremely quick with communication, the mitigation team arrived promptly, and was extremely nice/professional while taking their time to carefully explain each issue and solution during their assessment. They started the job the following morning. I stayed elsewhere while they were working and they kept me updated with pictures and communication throughout the day. Once completed, the work was done efficiently and effectively. I’m extremely happy with my decision to go with this company and will certainly contact /refer them in the event of any water damage issues.

⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Quincy , Mario and Charles were the technicians that performed the restoration work in my home after my sump pump backed up after a storm. They were informative, friendly and most importantly professional.

This team was amazing to work with. We Had a major flood in our home which then resulted in mold. They worked with my insurance company to document everything so it was covered.
Quincy and Mario were very knowledgeable technicians and walked me through the whole process. I gave them full access to my unattended home and felt completely safe with them being there while we stayed in a hotel. 10/10 will recommend.

My insurance adjuster from Liberty Mutual had experience working with Marcellis. She even acknowledged how great of a person he is, which says A LOT coming from an insurance adjuster!!!!

Excellent service - Marcellis from Disinfect-It was knowledgeable, professional, and generous with his time.

My wife and I just bought a new house, only to find a mold-like substance covering the walls of the attic. Our first home inspector (not a remediation expert) was sure it was mold, and charged us over $100 for a single tape test. The results of that test were vague, and he concluded by advising that we should “not use the attic.” - an unrealistic and unprofessional suggestion.

Following this bad experience, we reached out to Disinfect-It Emergency Restoration for a proper mold inspection. And they delivered!

Marcellis (the owner) brought his superior knowledge to bare. He arrived on time, and did a thorough, efficient examination. Not only did he run some initial air tests in the attic (leaving us with more information in one day than we got from the previous lab report), but he also told us that the substance may not actually be mold. He referred us to an industrial mold inspector, and even called him on the spot for an initial review of our attic by video.

Since then, we’ve had the specialist come by, and we are waiting on the final (new) lab results. Thanks to Disinfect-It’s experience and professionalism, we may avoid paying for costly remediation that isn’t actually needed.

We look forward to working with Marcellis and company again, should the need arise.

I had to call Disinfect-it for water Damage, Clean up and Restoration in which a Respectful Responder named Marcellis Mosby answers the call and out ASAP.
He was very easy to talk to, very understanding and sympathetic about our situation. He was willing to help us Restored the damages and take care of our problems.

Marcellis and his Disinfect-It team restored my basement after my hot water heater burst. From the first contact until the job was done, they were professional, on-time, knowledgeable, fast, and provided excellent customer service! The water damage from the water heater was much more extensive than I realized. They identified all of the affected areas (carpet, structure, and items), only removed the drywall, studs, and trim that were damaged, and ensured that everything was thoroughly dry before starting the rebuild. They completed the job much faster than I expected. The drywall and trim replacements were done so expertly, that I cannot tell where the old and new begin and end. I was so relieved and pleased. They bought the exact paint (color and brand) originally used on the affected walls for a perfect match. Marcellis also worked with my insurance company to ensure that the work was covered. I am so pleased with Disinfect-It and encourage you to hire them if you'd like your water damaged space to look like new!
